In 2005, American DND supported Hurricane Katrina cleanup efforts at the Palace Casino, located in Biloxi, Mississippi. The riverboat had been damaged by the hurricane. Task included removing structural materials and debris from the water using barges and cranes and demolishing and removing the concrete road decking and bridging that had been displaced by the hurricane.
