Portsmouth Site X-326 Demolition Planning and Modeling, Engineering Support, X326 Demo Equipment Rental, and Dust Suppression The Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant located in Piketon Ohio performed uranium enrichment for the nation’s Nuclear Weapons Program and Commercial Reactors from 1954 through 2001. In 1989 the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) established the Environmental Cleanup Program with the Office of Environmental Management (EM) leading the cleanup, decommissioning, environmental remediation, and demolition operations at the facility. American DND has supported the cleanup efforts with providing Structural Engineering Analysis, Fixative and Surfactant Studies, Development of Work Plans and Pre-Demolition Engineering Surveys, along with 3D graphic presentations for demolition sequencing for public communications and workforce training. From 2021 – 2024 American DND was contracted to provide $25m of specialty demolition equipment to support the demolition and downsizing of building 326 at the Portsmouth Facility.
