In the 2006-07 timeframe American DND worked with Cambria Contracting to perform the complete strip out of the former Aleris Aluminum Smelter Hot Mill and Cold Mill Equipment in Hannibal, Ohio. The scope of work for this project was to strip out 12,000 tons of interior steel from the former aluminum hot mill manufacturing facility. This included cast houses, scalpers, annealing furnaces, ingot preheaters, 42” to 96” rolling mills, and finishing dept. equipment. All work was 100% complete in 5 months.
