From March to November 2008, American DND worked with Cambria Contracting Inc. to demolish the AK Steel, Mansfield Ohio cold rolling mill. The project involved environmental remediation and hazardous materials abatement as well as relocation of more than 350 spare parts for the mill, including numerous rotating critical spares weighing from 10 to 50 tons. As part of this task, we also demolished the 500,00 square foot cold rolling mill and associated manufacturing facilities, followed by site and facility restoration construction work. This work encompassed more than 15,000 safe work hours.
